Tasks: Literature study on existing soil quality indicators, compilation of an overarching theoretical framework and testing of associated hypotheses. Laboratory and field experiments, e.g. on the resistance of different soils against various stress situations, effects of soil additives or preference behavior of soil animals. Teaching assistance in practical courses (Formenkenntnistiere, Ökologie, Statistische Datenauswertung).
